Amy’s multifaceted career has ranged from founding and operating companies, to investing in startups, to volunteer nonprofit leadership. Currently, Amy is Founder and CEO of Madison Reed, an omnichannel beauty brand that is challenging industry titans in the hair color space. She is also a Partner at True Ventures, focusing on investments in consumer and ecommerce startups. Madison Reed became a $100 Million company in 2020.

Prior to founding Madison Reed, Amy was a General Partner responsible for the Bay Area office of Maveron, a leading venture capital firm focused on the consumer sector. Before Maveron, Amy was CEO of Olivia, where she repositioned the travel business as a complete lifestyle company.

Amy also served on the senior management team at E*TRADE where she diversified the company beyond its brokerage offerings and ran a $200 million business. This followed 10 years as Founder and CEO of The Spectrem Group, a worldwide strategic consulting firm. Amy sold Spectrem to NFO, an IPG subsidiary.

In 2015 and 2018, Amy was named one of the “Bay Area's Most Influential Women in Business” by the San Francisco Business Times. She was also a finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2018 Award in the Northern California region, which she won in 2006 for the consumer category.

An American television executive, former Senior Content Executive at Quibi. Formerly the president of Viacom Music and Entertainment Group, where he oversaw MTV, VH1, Logo, Comedy Central, Palladia, TVLand and Spike, Herzog is credited with bringing South Park, The Daily Show, and The Colbert Report.

He served recently as President, Artist & Entertainment Services for Crowdmix, a social network/application enabling people to discover and build relationships via music.

Wingate served as President, Media Development & Chief Content Officer for Nellymoser Inc, an early provider of streaming mobile application services, running content, licensing and business development strategy with clients such as Sony, Warner Music, MTV, AT&T, Virgin Mobile & ABC Television.

Wingate helped pioneer the digital music business from its infancy as SVP, Content Development at Liquid Audio, Inc, playing an integral role in their 1999 IPO. He was responsible for music licensing, label relations, affiliate management and content marketing and negotiated the first digital distribution catalogue deals with numerous record companies including Universal, Warner and EMI.

His in-depth experience in the recording industry included positions as SVP Marketing, Arista Records (BMG); SVP A&R PolyGram Records; Director, Talent Acquisition, Epic Records; and Director, Product Management, Columbia Records. He has been integrally involved with the careers of artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello, Aimee Mann, Peter Tosh, Eddy Grant (“Electric Avenue), Pink Floyd, Sarah McLachlan and Garland Jeffreys.

Elizabeth Moody is a Partner, Chair of New Media practice at Granderson des Rochers. Her practice includes advising new media companies, record labels, music publishers, recording artists, creators, podcasters and technology companies. As a digital media executive veteran, Moody has advised digital music and video services including Pandora, YouTube, Spotify, Rdio, Soundcloud and MySpace.

Most recently, she served as the VP of Global Content Partnerships at Pandora, where she drove content strategy and lead the negotiation and implementation of content partnership deals. Previously, she held Business Development and Business Affairs roles at OnCue (Intel), where she lead content development efforts for New Channels for the OnCue OTT service before it was acquired by Verizon. She served as Head of Business Development at Grokker, a health and fitness startup. At YouTube, Moody led the music partnerships team.

Before her business practice, Moody worked with Fred Davis to build Davis Shapiro’s digital media practice, advising digital media services through years of shift in the digital music and video industries. She started her career as a lawyer at Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison LLP. Moody received a J.D. from the Washington College of Law at American University and a B.A. in International Studies and French from Colby College.
